Enclosed is the DragStrip™ 1.0.1 Updater application. To update DragStrip version 1.0 to version 1.0.1, run the updater application, then select your old copy of DragStrip. The updater will then prompt you for the location of the updated version.
What's changed in version 1.0.1
• Several speed enhancements.
• Fixed bug related to adding items to strips with lots of preloaded resources. This was also known as the "Adding Photoshop bug."
• Fixed hierarchical popup menu to look better with Greg's Buttons
• Fixed several crashes related to ControlStrip modules.
• We have also fixed several problems related to resource management and many crashes that would come about from corrupted preferences files. If DragStrip finds that its preferences file has been corrupted, it will attempt to fix it and notify the user of this. If it can't be fixed, it will quit gracefully with a note to the user, telling them to throw it away.
• Aliases are now stored as path relative to the strip file, once it has been saved. This will make things like finding an item on a disk that has been renamed easier, particularly if the strip file and the target file are on the same volume.
• Fixed bug where additions don't redraw if the status bar isn't showing.
• Fixed bug where sometimes DragStrip would take a couple of times to stop reopening a strip that was closed at quit time.
• Fixed bug where when a window is larger than the main screen and you just click on the grow box, it will shrink the window to be at most as wide as the main screen, possibly truncating items in the process.
• Always disallow dragging of Finder from a strip to other applications (avoid accidentally dropping Finder somewhere unexpected)
Not in the documentation...
While DragStrip supports Control Strip modules, do not use DragStrip's Control Strip features and run Control Strip at the same time. Weird things may happen.

Unsupported Software
Included with DragStrip is Bail™. Bail is a control panel that allows you to cancel the launch of any applications you may have accidentally launched. To activate Bail, drag it into your Control Panels folder and restart. Now when you launch an application, your cursor will flash an application icon briefly. If you click or press Command-period during this time, the application's launch will be immediately halted and you will return to Finder. You can change the amount of time that Bail gives you to cancel the launch and certain applications that Bail will always launch immediately without this delay. Bail is not supported but it has been used by thousands of people for several years without incident so there shouldn't be any problems with it.
